Persistence led Dvera Berson to overcome the effects of crippling arthritis by devising her own set of underwater exercises.

Finding her own way to freedom from a life of supports and braces, drugs and pain was not enough for the former buyer and fashion model. She wrote a book called "Pain-Free Arthritis" to teach others what she had learned.

At 76, Berson has now taken her program one step further. She has produced a three-hour video to teach arthritis sufferers who have a VCR how they can learn to move once more without constant pain. Access to a swimming pool is essential.
